Tanubuke

Finally decided to draw an evolution for Procyoon
And i think it looks pretty good.
It looks like it evolves from Procyoon, it looks cool, it looks chubby and cuddly XD

i'll upload a size comparison too

Okay so i had to experiment a lot with colour, but i think i've just about managed to come up with something that looks quite good. because the colours are very finely balanced.
for a pokemon game though there would be too many colours for the pallet.
but oh well.
This one was meant to look very culteral and it is, obviously, based off Tanuki.
the name is a shortening of TanukiBuke which means tanuki warrior. Shida-chan suggested something like "tabuke" saying it was too much as Tanubuke, which i think i agree with, but i tried "Tanbuke" "Tabuke" and "Tanuke" and none of them seemed right. so i think I'll just go with "Tanubuke"
So, like Procyoon, i have a have just about come up with the right mixture for the name. just about.
it's overal design was inspired by this monster (or 'spirit') in this shaman kind game played.

"Tanubuke are the evolved form of Procyoon.
Despite their size and fearsome strength, they are quite docile, and peaceful creatures.
In the wild they tend to the forest and it's pokémon, acting as defenders and helping out where they can to keep the balance of nature. they are hesitant to resort to violence and will try to find a peaceful solution wherever they can, but will spare no mercy if they have to fight to protect the forest.
They can be playful by nature when they are happy and can easily cheer up sad trainers. However, they can be quite stern when acting on guard duty."
