Carl tried to look around but couldn't really move that well. He managed to turn his head around enough to see that his left arm and leg where tied up by vines. He could then feel that his right arm and leg was also tied by vines but not as much. Carl tried to move his entire body but it was difficult.But as he was waking up he realised that he was hanging upside down, one thick vine around his shoulder and a few around his stomach held most of his body up. He still didn't find this comfortable. Since he was held by the vines in a much more lose way than he had if someone had tied him there meant that he must had fallen and gotten tangled by the vines before he hit the floor. But what floor? The mysterious ruinsCarl, a young boy, wandered around a deep forest one day. He was on holiday in a different country, and so far, he had been thoroughly enjoying every bit of it. Their campsite was right next to this deep dark forest, which he had been desperately wanting to explore since the moment they arrived, but he had been told quite sternly not to transverse the damp muddy ground of this enticing green wonderland.But today, he had managed to wake up super early, thanks to a bird that landed next to their camp to sing every morning, and that he was the only one that would be woken up by it's song. The forest here was alive with an orchestra of sound and painted with beautiful sights.He wandered around in awe of these surroundings, curiously exploring every nook and cranny, every beetle and bug, and having a fun time. Why should he not be allowed to come here? Grown-ups make the stupidest rules!It was not long into the day when Carl would stumble across something the likes he'd never dreamed of.
